Trying to go "green" on laundry day....

This was our Sunday for visitors!!

Tim's college roommate Ed and his wife Kim came from Boston.

Everybody grabbed a picking bag and went to work.

The Allens came for the afternoon.

The Riverton Fair.....2008

I brought our apples to the Riverton Fair this afternoon.

The display looked nice all set up.

There was only one other plate of apples to compete against Peter's. Can you guess which apples Peter grew? Both are Empire apples.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing!

Linda and I had a conversation about cotton candy this summer, and I have been thinking about some ever since. The Riverton Fair had a booth where they were freshly spinning it. It was warm, sweet and delicious. I haven't had cotton candy in over 30 years, and I probably won't again for another 30 years. It is out of my system now.

Another one of our crew bites the dust and joins the "over 50!" crowd!

Cindy had a surprise 50th party for Bill..
