My bird feeder was very busy this morning..........

Linda, Ken and I went for a walk on the bog behind their house......it was such a beautiful day!

We had some surprise visitors this weekend.......

Frances's flight to Portland, Maine from New York got delayed.... So she came up to CT and Pat came down from Rockport for an impromptu day together.

......and Bruce brought Sophie over to meet us........

This is how Hortense spends her day and gets her exercise.........

She moves around between the living room radiator...........

and the radiator in the kitchen.

In all the years I have had a bird feeder outside my kitchen window, I have never seen a crow come to dine!

It's too cold for Jake outside......so if he can't sleep in the dirt outside, he finds the next best thing inside!
