Belgium and Paris.............

Chris and Anne suggested a trip to Belgium for "biking and beer" as a celebration for their 50th birthdays. Priscilla, Bob, Andy, Peter and I went along for the beer..not the biking. Chris found this great "cottage" to rent in Celles. The arrow points to our house....complete with castle view!

This is a back view of our "cottage"...

...and the castle up the road.

We really had fun at this "cottage"

On Wednesday Priscilla, Bob, Andy, Peter and I took the train to expolore Dinant for a day.

This is the Collegiate Church and The Citadel on the top of the hill.

Dinant was only ten minutes away by train.

Priscilla, Bob, Peter and I took a train to Bruges for an overnight visit.

Bruges was a very interesting but busy town.

The flowers in Paris in the summer are gorgeous!!

On Saturday night we had dinner with Carole, Jean-Marc and Chanaƫl.

We had some rain again on this vacation!

Priscilla made a cat friend in the Montmartre Cemetary.

On Sunday afternoon, Hugues and his sister Marie brought us to Parc de Sceaux for a picnic lunch.

These are some of the fountains.......

Rodin carved these.....I always feel like I am back at work when I see people expectorating.

Hugues and his sister Marie.

Bob took a picture Peter taking a picture of Priscilla and me trying to get the blood out of our ankles.

This is the picture Peter took..........

On our last night in Paris, we walked along the Seine and stopped at Notre Dame.

I think Priscilla and Bob really enjoyed their first trip to Paris!
