Our bus drove us through the Punchbowl Crater National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific

This place is a crater of an extinct volcano which contains over 25,000 graves of servicewomen and men. There is also a memorial here where they list over 26,000 names of military personnel whose bodies were never recovered.
